Waerebo Tour 2 days 1 night, aims to visit a traditional village which is located in the middle of the forest and can only be accessed by walking for approximately 2.5 hours. There, you will get to know how local residents survive in remote areas far from the hustle and bustle of big cities. On this 2 Days 1 Night Waerebo tour, you will feel the sensation of spending the night in a cone-shaped house, which is a typical house of the Manggarai tribe in Flores. For local residents in Waerebo Village, 1 conical house is occupied by 6-7 families. At night, you will also be amazed to see millions of stars that decorate the sky in Waerebo Village.

Itinerary

Day 1 | Labuan Bajo - Waerebo Village

At 7.30 am, you will be picked up at the hotel by our team.
Depart for Dintor for approximately 4 hours journey. Then you will get your lunch at Waerebo Lodge & Resto.
After lunch, you will be taken to Denge and then walk to Waerebo Village.
Upon arrival at Waerebo Village, you will be greeted by performing a traditional welcoming ritual by traditional elders.
Next, you are invited to explore Waerebo village and stay overnight in one of the traditional houses provided.

Day 2 | Waerebo Village - Labuan Bajo

After breakfast, you will return to Dintor. On the way down, the chirping of endemic Flores birds will accompany your walk.
Upon arrival in Dintor, you continue your journey back to Labuan Bajo.
On the way, you will stop to see rice fields shaped like spider webs.
